Our tours combine a visit in our Viking exhibition with a walk (in total 5 km) over the Hæreid Iron Age Burial Site or on the Lægreid Plateau (in total 3 km).

We organise eventful, exciting, and varied tours in our exhibition for groups, adapted to their needs. Afterwards, this experience can be combined with delicious food in the “Grindaløo”- café at “Tunet på Haugen”. Do you like to sit around a bonfire and listen to storytelling? Do you want to join a lecture about the local history in our place or at your place? Our new concept “Exhibition on wheels” brings the local history to you. Are you looking forward to participating in Viking Games and test your strength, skill, and team spirit? Have you been dreaming about rowing a Viking ship in the Hardangerfjord?
